Dear Ruopeng,
I'd like to draw ROI using ' From Nifi/Analyze Image File..', so I choose those img. files which were saved by Marsbar (a ROI drawing software). I can open those ROI with MRIcron, Marsbar and SPM, but when I use TrackVIS to open it, it comes a weird image.
I try many img. files generated by SPM, Marsbar, etc. but it seems TravkVIS can only open Nifi/img file saved by trackVIS itself. It seems some users can open Nifi/img files generated by other softwares like SPM etc..
Can you please see how these happen? I can upload the ROI to you if needed.

The ROI image file must have the same geometry information as the track file. Sure, you can send me the track file and the ROI file if possible. Also, once loaded, you need to change ROI type to "Hand-drawn" to be able to edit it.

Great! I coregister / Reslice the files (with SPM ) and it works :)

As to edit ROI. I tried and again, the old-ROI can not be edit even I change to ' hand-drawn'.

The reason that I can not edit an old ROI is–once I change ROI type to ' Hand-Drawn', a new ROI appears. so I actually could not enter the edit-condition of the old ROI. I can only edit the 'present' ROI before saving it.
Can you please see what's the problem… Many thanks in advance!

Not sure why there is a second ROI but you can always select ROI from the 3D view or from the ROI list on Overview panel to make it "present".

I guess we are talking different things  :
You are right that the ROI created for one subject can be modified there, but only for the same type of ROI. e.g., you can not modify the ROI created by 'sphere' through ' hand draw', nor can you modify a ROI 'From nii file' by any means.
Sometimes it is useful and more efficient if I can modify the ROI created from elsewhere, e.g., from another subject, but it seems dosen't work when using TrackVIS.

You can't modify sphere as hand-draw but you should be able to modify a ROI that is "From nii file". You just need to change the type from "From nii" to "hand-draw" in ROI property panel. Then you should be able to edit it.

But each time I click on the 'hand-draw', a new ROI appears, and I can no long edit the ROI loaded 'from nii'
I hope I got somewhere wrong, can you please check that? Here attach some pictures for your reference.

Change it in ROI *property* panel on the right. Click on "Type" row you will be able to change it.

Great! Now I find I can change the 'Property' and edit it.
One more thing I'd like to ask is, now I can 'Move' the ROI in 'Hand Draw' type, but it is possible to do 'Rotate' in TrackVIS? that is, to roll or pitch or yaw the ROIs, like those in SPM display function.

Unfortunately you can't rotate ROI in trackvis.
