Would it be possible in the next version to include a MD map in de DTI reconstruction?

And as a sidetrack question, what kind of map is the _exp.nii map?

A MD map is like a FA map but then it shows the Mean Diffusivity. This measure is often used besides the FA map.

From wikipedia:

Another commonly used measure that summarizes the total diffusivity is the Trace—which is the sum of the three eigenvalues,

λ₁ + λ₂ + λ₃.

If we divide this sum by three we have the mean diffusivity

(λ₁ + λ₂ + λ₃)/3.
