potential bug in export scalar values function

hi Roupeng

when I export the FA values for a tract, the function writes out FA values even though there aren't any streamlines. for example, let's say I have a single streamline. when I view the details statistics, the histogram shows that there is one streamline and the FA is 0.45. but the plot also shows a range of FA values from 0.45 to 1.25 and beyond, even though there aren't any streamlines. These FA values also get exported. This happens even when there are many streamlines (I.e. when there are no streamlines between an interval, FA values with streamlines = 0 are generated as output).  could you please check this problem?

thank you

HI Cibu,

The exported values are a distribution curve. It's the track count that matters. Just consider the FA values as the marks on x axis.

thanks Ruopeng

so for a single streamline is the reported FA the average FA of the voxels through which the streamline passes?

Yes.
